NIDA lands top summer tutors

NIDA has once again managed to attract some stellar talent to step up as tutors at its Summer Open Program workshops.

This year's tutors include actor Wil Traval, who has just wrapped shooting the latest series of Underbelly: The Golden Mile, McLeod's Daughters actor Aaron Jeffrey, Underbelly actress and narrator Caroline Craig and Damian Walshe-Howling, and Kieran Darcy-Smith who have just finished filming local film The Reef.

This week the group posed for our camera and were up-beat about teaching their craft to a new generation of wannabe thespians.

NEWISH couple and former McLeod's Daughters stars Zoe Naylor and Aaron Jeffery made a rare - and awfully early - public appearance for the Ralph Lauren Pink Pony 10th anniversary walk.

The pair fell in love earlier this year, 18 months after the family favourite TV drama was axed.

Yesterday Naylor, who split from husband James Trude early last year, arrived at Centennial Park at 7am and held Jeffery's hand throughout the fund-raising trek.

They were joined by fashion designers Carla Zampatti and Camilla Franks, Biggest Loser trainer Michelle Bridges and gorgeous Russian beauty queen and Miss Russia 2010 Irina Antonenko.

The hike around the picturesque park was to raise money for the Pink Pony Fund, which donates to the National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre.
