Rachael Ann Carpani was born on 24th August 1980. Her mother is an Australian,

her father is Italian

Rachael is, unlike her role as Jodi Fountain McLeod, the oldest child and grow up together with her sister Georgia and her brother Nick on a property next Dural in the Sydney Hills District . Later the family moved to North Sydney.

Even if for Rachael, as a member of a academic family, the school in the foreground,

she had been during their girlhood an agent to represent it in small TV roles and

commercials accommodated.

Her major in high school last year was drama, and with their good grades Rachael

was one of the best 10% of school leavers in New South Wales.

At the Australian College of Entertainment at Macquarie University Rachael

achieved a degree in media and cultural studies, and made alongside a theater

studies with a major training as a writer.

Rachael shifted the last academic year rearward, if was offered the role as Jodi

Fountain McLeod at McLeod´s Daughters. She contrive, go back later to university

for finished her study. The plan should still wait.

The skiing and running track races belong to Rachael’s hobbies.

Besides of McLeod's Daughters she played in several films.

Rachael left McLeods in season 7 and go to the United Sates for playing in a series

called Law Dogs. Unfortunately, the series can't enforceable on the broadcaster,

and was stopped after the first episode. But Rachael has already attempt new

projects in the United States.

In 2007 she was to see in some episodes of the series "Cane".

In Australia she played in 2008 the role of Susan Shapiro in the movie "Scorched".

After this she shoot the film "Triangle", her role there is Sally.

Rachael Carpani played an one episode character at the US series Navy CIS: L.A.. She could be seen at the movie True Blue.

In 2010 she played in three episodes of the series The Glades.

In 2011 Rachael Carpani played the female main character of the series Against the Wall. The series was stopped after the first season.

When is Rachael and her colleague Matt Passmore came closer is their secret, but

we can only wish them both all the best for this long-distance relationship. They separated in 2011. They will be friends.

In 2007 Rachael Carpani was nominated for the TV Week Silver Logie as Most

Popular Actress. Unfortunately it hasn`t won.
