Mysterious Island is the story of six human beings, escaping in a gas-filled-balloon at the end of the American Civil War from a jail. Their getaway ended on an island somewhere on a volcanic island in the Pacific Ocean.

The series was aired the first time in 1995. In episode 16 named Last Rights of Spring Lisa Chappell played a guest character. She acted as Jane Morecombe. Jane landed with Priscilla Hawthorne on the island.

Both had a closer look on two of the male inhabitants. And what these two girls want, these two girls get.

Jane is the smarter one of them. She does not want to accept a no as answer. She is doing in all ways what she had to do to get one’s own way. She even risks the lives of others for that.
