Dancing With The Stars – Season 8

„Dancing With The Stars“ is a production which challenges 10 celebrities to show their qualities in dancing with the help of a professional dancer. They waltz, they jive and they tango, as well. Of course a competent jury is not missing. They influence the decision by rating the celebrity’s dance qualities (points from 0 to 10). But they are not the only one who have this influence. The viewer can decide for whom he or she will vote by calling the celebrity’s calling number (the result of the callers will be transformed to points).

In 2008 Luke Jacobz took part in the 8 season of Dancing With The Stars in Australia. His dancing Partner was Luda Croitor.

Episode 1: Cha Cha – 24 Points – 6. Place

Episode 2: Tango – 29 Points – 6. Place

Episode 3: Samba – 20 Points – 7. Place

Episode 4: Quickstep – 25 Points – 2. Place

Episode 5: Salsa – 26 Points – 2. Place

Episode 6: Swing – 22 Points – 4. Place

Episode 7: Paso Doble & Jive – 23 & 23 Points – 6. Place

Episode 8: Rumba & Foxtrott – 49 Points – 1. Place

Episode 9: Swing & Segue – 54 Points (28 & 26) – 1. Place

Episode 10: Freestyle & Waltz & Cha Cha Face off – 85 Points (30 & 29 & 26) – 1. Place

Luke and Luda achieved the grand final. In the last episode and with their last dance, the freestyle, they achieved the full score of 30 points from the jury, it was the first and last time they achieved this score. With this great performance they won the finale. Luke follows in the footsteps of his former “McLeods Daughter’s” colleague Bridie Carter who won the final with her dancing partner Craig Monley the year before.
