While in Sydney, Australia attending an international symposium on policing techniques, Detective Sergeant Tito Ihaka (Morrison) finds himself partnered with Kirsty Pinn (Gibney), a by-the-book detective with the Australian Federal Police. They are given the unsolved case of the rape and murder of a young supermodel as a class assignment.
During the course of their review they uncover evidence that was ignored in the initial investigation and suddenly they aren't just reviewing the case, they are up to their necks in blackmail, deceit and hot on the trail of the killer.
