Matthew (known as Matt as well) Passmore was born in the middle of the 1970's. He is growing up in Brisbane.
As Teenager he discovered his passion for the theater
He saw his first play on a school excursion.
After graduated high school Matt did not know what to study, so he joined the army.
After his time in the army Matt joined a local amateur production company.
An agent discovered him, signed him up and he began to work professional. He realized that he needed training and in 1999 he started that training at the NIDA.
One year before Matt married his girl-friend Jacquie. Meanwhile they got divorced.
2001 he graduated from NIDA with a Bachelor of Dramatic Arts.
Since 2002 he's a presenter on the children's show "Play School”.
Matt played Pete 'The Love Professor' Jones in the series Always Greener in 2002. One other member of the series cast was Michala Banas, Matt met her again at McLeod’s Daughters.
In five episodes the 6 feet tall actor played Brad Fingleton the handicapped husband of Susie Raynor in the series Blue Heelers.
He played in The Cooks, Son of the Mask and The Alice.
2005 he was working together with Rodger Corser for “Last Man Standing”. Matt played Cameron Kennedy.
2006 Matt was a member of one episode cast of the series McLeod’s Daughter as Greg Hope.
One year later Matt Passmore was back at McLeod’s Daughters as Marcus Turner.
He was a member of the series cast till the end of McLeod’s Daughters.
He played at Noir Drive.
In 2009 Matt Passmore acted at the US production Masterwork. He played one of the main characters at the Australian series The Cut.
Matt Passmore played together with other former McLeod´s Daughters actors at the series Underbelly 2.
Since 2010 he played the male main character of the series The Glades. The next was filmed. And it doesn´t look like there will be an end of the series.
Matt was dating Rachael Carpani, who he met on the set of McLeod's Daughters. They separate in 2011. They will be friends.
Matt is the owner of a motorbike (Yamaha YZF-R6), he loves Rugby and Tupper Ware.
And at the time of McLeod’s Daughters he shares a flat with his colleague Luke Jacobz.
He has an older brother and a younger sister.
The series the Glades has been cancelled.
