Dustin Clare grew up in Ballina and Maclean (New South Wales). He was born on January 2, 1982.

Dustin has one sister and stepbrothers and -sisters, is playing the guitar and riding motorbikes.

He graduated at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

In an interview he said: I think I was about 18 before I decided I wanted to pursue acting. I went to drama school in Western Australia when I was 19. I had wanted to be a fish farmer, to be honest with you. I wanted to be an agriculturist. I wanted to have my own fish farm. I was also contemplating surfboard building.”

In 2003 he acted his episode character in the series “Brothers”, where he played Ethan.

The character Gareth Williams in the series “Headland” was Dustin’s first main character in a series.

2006 Dustin worked at the movie “Air Australia”,

In 2006 and 2007 you could watch him as Riley Ward in the series McLeod’s Daughters.

2007 Riley won the Silver Logie as Best Male Newcomer.

2009 you could watch him in the series “Underbelly” and in 2008 started the work for the series “Satisfaction”.

He acted in short films like Early Checkout, Happenstance and Kanowa.

In 2011 Dustin Clare was a part of the series Spartacus. He played Gannicus in the season Gods of the Arena. In 2012 he could be seen as the same character at the season Vengeance at the series Spartacus.

He filmed for the movie Goddess. In this movie he is showing that he is a good singer either.

He acted, wrote and was the director with the movie Cane Cutter, Gillian Alexy was one other castmember in that movie, you could know her from McLeod’s Daughters.
