Jonny Pasvolsky was born July 27th 1972 in Capetown in South Africa as Jonathan Marc Pasvolsky. His family had a bus enterprise in South Africa and transported white and black people.

Finally, in the course of the apartheid movement the family decided to leave South Africa, they went in 1978 to Australia.

Jonny, aka Jonathon Pasvolsky or Jonny Pas has Russian ancestors. He has three siblings. One of these is his brother Steve. Steve works as director and author. His movie Inja was nominated for the Oscar. To the show he was accompanied by his brother Jonny.

During the school Jonny played Rugby and Basketball.

As a teenager he took roles in musicals like „The Wiz“, „The Boyfriend“, „Guys ´n Dolls“ or „Oliver. During four years Jonny threw a look behind the backgrounds of the television world, but then are fixed for him, he wanted to become an actor. In the Victorian college of the Arts he did his education.

Jonny played in series like Young Lions, All Saints or Farscape.

In 2005 Jonny came as a Rob Shelton to McLeod’s Daughters. During the series turned out, that his character has a wrong identity and Jonny called Matt Bosnich, as him left the series in 2007.

For his role as a Rob he was nominated for the Logie Awards as a Best New Talent.

In 2006 Jonny married his girlfriend Carolyn and her first child, a daughter, was born in 2007. In 2009 the second daughter was born.

Also 2006 he took a role in the drama Macbeth, and 2008 he was back in TV with Hey Hey It's Esther Blueburger.

In 2008 Jonny Pasvolsky acted as Zoron at the series Satisfaction and he was a part of the series False Witness.

In 2009 he could be seen at the series Underbelly and Rescue Special Ops.

He acted at Sea Patrol in 2010 and as Zac Butler at the series Cops LAC.

In 2011 he could be seen at the series Offspring and at the movie Blood Brothers in a more or less important character.

On July 26, 2011 Jonny Pasvolsky will be the first time a presenter of Play School.

2012 he played Tim Graham in 7 episodes of the series Home and Away.
